Move Over

I originally started my first blog, oldmainer.wordpress.com back in July 2012. At the time it was a compilation of narratives, opinions, observations, and poetry. After a couple of months, it became more apparent that there was a different audience that chose to view my poetry. So, after much thought, I have decided to re-post the poems from oldmainer to this blog. There are several, so I will be doing this over time. To those astute, obviously intelligent people who have eagerly followed both of my blogs, I apologize for the duplication that will prevail between blogs. On each one, I will note that “this is a repost from oldmainer”. To those of you that have not visited my other blog, well shame on you:) I hope what you see you will enjoy enough to come back for more.

About oldmainer

I am a retired manager living in Southern Maine and a would be writer of poetry, narratives, short stories, and random opinions, and that's how Oldmainer was born. Recently, I decided to try an experiment. I added photography to the mix, using only a cheap cell phone with a limited camera and the editing software that came with it, and added the blog site Inklings at poormanspoet.wordpress.com to showcase the results. So, feel free to use whatever you find interesting or worthy, but please honor the terms of my copyright when and if you do. They may not be much, but they are still a piece of me. I appreciate your checking me out and hope that you find something that will encourage a return visit. Thanks for stopping by.
